Mos Def on Yo Gabba Gabba
This made me laugh so hard. I love that hip hop has grown to a level that this kinda stuff can happen. It's for the children!!!

Fairy Tale
My man Ziyon just dropped a hot video for the single "Fairy Tale" from his outfit Liquideep out of Johannesburg, SA. Some of y'all will surely remember my man from the Audiofonix days. He's been in SA for about 5 years now gettin it in. I heard the single at the end of last year and loved it...but the video makes me love it all over again. Big respect to my man for makin good music and doin it big. Check out the sista in the video...they doin it like that in Jozie? I gotta get me a ticket!!!

David Banner & 9th Wonder
If you're anything like me, this will make you happy. David Banner is a rapper/producer from Mississippi who rose to fame doing, well, lets just say less than conscious music. However, in interviews and such over the years he's shown a little more intelligence than your average thug MC. When I heard about his new collab project with 9th Wonder entitled "Death of a Pop Star" I couldn't wait to hear some music. And it didn't disappoint. This is a direction that I've been waiting to see cats move in , so big ups to Banner for going against the grain and saying some of what needs to be said.

Crazy or Genius?
I saw this link on a friends page and had to repost. These cats are wild...although I do give them props for thinking it all the way through. We'll see how long it lasts before the Feds come kicking in the door. And if they don't...think of the precedent.

Interesting Perspective on Haiti...
No matter what your social, political or religious affiliations, it's nearly impossible not to feel the gravity of the loss and suffering in Haiti right now. That said, here's an interesting article on some historical factors that may have contributed to the conditions. What do y'all think?
What you're not hearing about Haiti (but should be)
